Alexis' 4th Birthday

Alexis turned 4 on August 1st. At her Montessori school, they celebrate birthdays by having the children walk around a circle with the months of the year and the birthday child holds a globe. The parent then says something that happened each year of their life. Then Alexis shared a special fruit snack with her friends. On her birthday, Mommy took off from work and took her to the breakfast playground and then to the Aquarium. At the aquarium, we had lunch with the fishies and they brought her a special ice cream sundae with candles, which had happy birthday written in chocolate. After she blew out the candles, she proceeded to eat the chocolate writing. Alexis got to touch a stingray at the aquarium. Outside at the aquarium, Alexis got up on the stage and just starting dancing... For dinner, mommy and daddy took Alexis out to eat at her favorite restaurant - Casey's Pub - the best mac 'n cheese in town - and they also brought her a special brownie sundae with candles. The following day, she had her princess party and Cinderella suprised her.
