Last Cheer Show!

Alexis had her last cheer show on Sunday. She did awesome - we can't believe how much she has improved in the past few months. Although, every step she takes in the house is either a kartwheel or handstand.
We have a busy few weeks coming up...Eric's birthday tomorrow, getting the rooms in the house painted this week (finally! - I can't stand all white walls anymore!), and then Alexis is having eye surgery the end of February for her exotropia. We will have to keep her from doing kartwheels and handstands - I know, good luck with that! Stay tuned for pictures of the newly painted rooms!

Happy New Year!

It has been awhile since I have had a chance to update our blog. I am in the job market, which has been very time consuming and not much hope for the near future. But anyway, I am having fun with Alexis in the meantime...
Christmas morning...Santa did arrive...
After opening...Giving the dogs their gifts...
Went to Schlitterbahn Hill Country Christmas...me going down a slide...
Alexis going down...
Family pic with Santa...notice Alexis' face...she had to have her face painted...I think it is a butterfly.

I took Alexis to Sea World when daddy had to start call...Alexis with Shamu
Alexis and I waiting for Shamu to perform his Christmas show...wonderful!
Alexis in her cheerleading mode...straddle jump!
Feeding the dolphins...
In the front of Sea World...it was cold that day but we survived.
At Alexis' school Christmas party.
Christmas cheer competition...Alexis has really loved being on the show team...one more show this Sunday. This is my favorite picture...I have a feeling she is going to want to pursue cheerleading and they are training her to be a flier...if you don't know what that means, it is the girl on the top trusting everyone underneath to not drop her...scary!
With Santa and Mrs. Claus at the cheer competition...
More cheer pics...this is another favorite...as she is starting her show...that serious face...
With her trophy and medal...so proud!
More show pics
Grandmom and Pappy Fillman came to visit over Thanksgiving. Alexis had off from school and we had a great time around San Antonio. We went to the Wildlife Ranch and fed the animals...

The zebras were not afraid at all...here is one opening his lips waiting for me to place some food in his mouth.
Riverwalk...all decorated for Christmas
