Lookout Mountain and Golden, CO

Well, the day wasn't over yet. We then headed to Lookout Mountain, which overlooks Golden, CO. If you look close in the first picture, you can see the Coors brewery, which was our next stop after driving down the mountain and enjoying the scenery at the top. There was a nature area at the top of the mountain and the only thing Alexis wanted her picture taken with was the earthworms - go figure...she has a fascination with them...started when she was introduced to them at a young age in daycare...she was one of the few who would touch them. We made it to Coors just in time to get on the last tours of the day. Alexis loved the packaging area, which was pretty neat. Mommy and daddy liked the tasting area...we tried their seasonal beer the pumpkin blue moon...it wasn't as good as we thought it was going to be. Mommy liked the blue moon better. The last two pictures after the packaging (one of daddy and one of mommy and daddy were taken by Alexis - she is getting pretty good - she has kind of inherited the small Coolpix camera now that mommy has her new big camera and she has been doing pretty well with it...). The day still wasn't over...next we stopped at a bowling alley. Alexis has quite improved. She can now put her three fingers in the holes of the ball and throw the ball down the lane by herself (with a little lofting here and there). She made it to about the 7th frame and had a score of 47...pretty good I would say. We then finally found a restaurant on one of the main roads in Golden and luck had it that this was a night that they have antique cars parked all over and driving up and down the main road - it was amazing to see so many neat cars. Daddy's favorite was a General Lee. Well, that was the end to a pretty neat, long and fun day... More adventures to come next weekend...
